Thursday’s 5:15pm-6:15pm H.I.T. Fall
HITTING with INTENT & TECHNIQUE. I have been studying hitting for a long time. My philosophies have changed a few times over the years; however, one thing is constant, everyone is different! A coach can not just say, launch angle, hit the ball in the air, or swing as hard as you can to every player. Those phrases may work for some and destroy others. Our job is to get your player to be a great hitter by finding out what language works for them. We believe every player should have INTENT and drive baseballs on the line, in gaps, and over fences, regardless of size; however, it needs to be explained to every player differently. Each player needs different drills to make it happen. Becoming a great hitter is a marathon not a sprint. It is understanding how to, and be willing to, make adjustments. That all starts will a good solid base of understanding what we are trying to accomplish.
